JULIUS CAESAR..shakespeare

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears;
I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him.
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones;
So let it be with Caesar. The noble Brutus
Hath told you Caesar was ambitious:
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
And grievously hath Caesar answer'd it.
Here, under leave of Brutus and the rest--
For Brutus is an honourable man;
So are they all, all honourable men--
Come I to speak in Caesar's funeral.
He was my friend, faithful and just to me:
But Brutus says he was ambitious;
And Brutus is an honourable man.
He hath brought many captives home to Rome
Whose ransoms did the general coffers fill:
Did this in Caesar seem ambitious?
When that the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept:
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff:
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious;
And Brutus is an honourable man.
You all did see that on the Lupercal
I thrice presented him a kingly crown,
Which he did thrice refuse: was this ambition?
Yet Brutus says he was ambitious;
And, sure, he is an honourable man.
I speak not to disprove what Brutus spoke,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love him once, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him?
O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,
And men have lost their reason. Bear with me;
My heart is in the coffin there with Caesar,
And I must pause till it come back to me.

Help MEN.... they need it!!

Enough of women liberalization and independance. Women have marched forward. She has emerged as a force to be reckoned with.
She is no longer waiting at the peripherry, she enjoys the glory of her being at the heart of every sphere. But now its not too early before we start
talking about independance of MEN. Yes , you read it right. Give it a deeper thought... arent men more dependent on women rather than vice versa?
Today most of the women have become financially able. They are not only bread earners but also bread makers. They have always been wonderful home makers and
the their entry into the world economics has only added an icing to the cake. But what about their counterparts-"the Men"?? how have they emerged?? How many of
them can manage their house without a lady? Be it his mother, wife or sister. In every walk of life he is somehow or the other dependent on women. Now shouldnt
we help them to become independent? Isnt it our turn to be supportive and make them realise that its high time to come out of their dipers and learn to live on their
own? If women can have the privilage of being independent, why shouldnt men?

Life is complex... D more you want the more u can complicate things. N i have some kind of magnetic powers that attract negetivity. The day i think that everything is going smooth and perfect is the day i get some shock making me realize that life isnt a cake walk. There is so much to think about and do but i keep running away from things and moreso from decisions. why cant we just get what we really want. Heard it somewhere that if you really want something in life you will get it. Opposite to this theory i feel its..the more u want something the farther it goes away from u. So is it that we should stop wanting things??? Ive also read somewhere that let go off the thing that u really want, if it comes back to u..rejoice and if it dosnt then it never was urs...what if u r dnt wanna let go off that thing evn for a short while??? what if u r so convinced that u dont wanna test it to confirm if its urs???

I am Glad

How often do we say ... " i an Glad " ?

Appreciate the beautiful cors you see around,
Ask the one for whom its a perpectual black out.

Did you thank your parents who brought you up in this world so tough?
Ask the ones who were not lucky enough,

Think before you crib about what you eat,
There are some who have not seen a plate so neat!

"I deserve a better job",
Think about the disabled, the unemployed and those who wish they had your job.

Before whining about your incomplete sleep and stressful day,
Think about the soldiers who guard the borders for countless nights, never a word did they say.

Before complaining about the traffic and the distance you drive,
Think about those who walk the same distance 'coz they ought to survive.

When you miss your loved ones and cannot be with them,
Be happy, for you have atleast spent some time with them.

And when depressing thoughts still seem to pull you down,
Wear a smile and thank god that you are alove and still around.

Appreciate what you have,
Before crying over what you have not!!

Never Have I Fallen

Your presence speak soft sweetness,
Your touch cool caress
I am lost in your magic
My heart beats within yours.

I think of u each morning
And dream of u each night
I think of ur arms being around me
And cannot express my delight

Never have i fallen,
But quickly i am on my way
You have a heart in your hands
That has never before been given away.

Capital Punishment

Sitting in a cell 6 by 6,
Upset with life that he could never fix,
Remorse struck his heavy heart,
Closes his eyes and sees himself riding a cart,
Beside him sat this beauty so simple,
And the litle girl in his lap had a dimple,
Together the rode to a distant place,
Suddenly there is a flash of light on his face,
He opens his eyes, he is been taken somewhere,
Of guilt and punishment he has had his share,
He is sorry for the past and the mistakes he made,
No matter what, now the past cannot be changed.
Today again he is walking to a distant place,
Leaving behind that beauty and the innocent little face,
He wants them to know how much he loves them, how much he cares,
But in his past, he has not been fair,
For his past deeds he has to heavily pay,
How he wished he could find another way,
he is a changed man now; he wants the world to know,
he would never sin; he has taken a vow.
In his heart he can feel the pain,
But to let him go would not be sane,
His face is covered now, he can barely breathe,
Something put around his neck, he could feel the floor opening beneath,
He closes his eyes; Thinking about his loved ones was the toughest task,
Just Another Chance, was it too tough to ask?

I would have been a daughter, I would have been a lover,
I could have been a wife, i could have been a mother...
If only, in this world, you would have allowed me to enter.

They Call me 'chotu'

I am a worker, they call me chotu,
The earth is my home, its where i stay,
I live on the streets, my house has no boundaries,
I sleep when the city sleeps and wake up when the buses blow by,
I am a worker, they call me chotu.

I work in a factory all day all night,
Serve tea to my masters and whosoever works here,
I am on my toes throughout the day,
Fetching things and notes from one floor to the other,
I am a worker, they call me chotu.

I have a generous master who takes good care of me,
I polish his childrens' shoes and he gives me their clothes to wear,
I put back their book after they complete their homework, and they give me a penci an d paper if its not too tough to spare,
I am a worker, they call me chotu.

I pick up their plates and get to eat all what is left,
they also give me a 10 rs note everyday,
I keep collecting the money untill its enough to buy a book,
At times I buy a thin book, at times a thick one but all with colorful covers,
I am a worker, they call me chotu.

I lov to play with my dog, I have named him tommy,
I found him one day, when he was sleeping beside me in the morning,
I buy him milk and feed him well,
At times his friends come over and we all play together,
I am a worker, they call me chotu.

I dont know my age but I am growing tall,
Time has passed by and i have a prized collection of books now,
I look at them every night and then go off to sleep,
Wondering when would I find someone who will teach me to read.
I am a worker, they call me chotu.

The Road Less Taken

Often in life we have a chance,
To choose between two different paths,
Usually we take a quick glance,
And take the one with the greener grass.

Knowing the other leads to a wonderful end,
Yes we know , it leads to an assured destination,
But we , my friend,
Take the first one without hesitation.

There was this dreamer who didnt think much,
All he knew was he wanted to make a mark,
He went against the wind without being afraid as such,
With fire burning inside, he lit up the dark.

He had to work harder each day,
Often he would curse himself for making the wrong choice,
'Why me?' , in his mind he would say,
Seeing this gradually dying soul, others would rejoice.

He gathered courage and moved ahead,
He did not cry, he did not grumble,
He believed in himself, ignored what others said,
Now looking at his might, others would tremble.

Then came merrier days,
He found a reward on every step he took,
All along he found brighter rays,
The further he would go, the greener the path would look.

Good to better, Better to Best ; Humbly he rose,
The road less taken was the road he chose.
